I’m sure you’ve noticed that the FashionContainer loves travelling! During the past year we’ve been lucky enough to visit some extraordinary places. Some of which are well known by many of you, others which probably don’t immediately ring a bell. Today we’re sharing the places you should definitely be visiting in 2016.
1. Budapest
Budapest is the capital of Hungary and without doubt one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The picturesque streets make you feel like you’ve just landed in your own fairytale. Aside from that it’s a city with very interesting history and heritage. You for example find here one of the oldest metrolines and the synagogue in the city is the second biggest in the world. The so called parliament building with its gothic architecture is an attraction on its own and above all the people are super friendly and the city is safe.

2. Tel Aviv
There’s no denying that Tel Aviv has been in the news negatively a lot, but this vibrant and young city doesn’t deserve that. The people are super open en friendly, the city full of energy. On top of that is the city the perfect mix between modern night life and cultural heritage. A must-go in 2016.

3. Costa Rica
A must visit for the nature lovers amogst us. This raw, untouched and hard to navigate country in Central America has become more and more popular in recent years and for good reasons. The language spoken in Costa Rica is Spanish and the “Tica” (locals) are a very laid back and kind. If you’re looking to disconnect from your busy life, this is a great place to go to. Funny fact about Costa Rica? They don’t have addresses. Finding the route kind of works like this: go to the right when you get to the green house, then go straight until you find a sign that indicates the name of your hotel. Ehmmm, OK?

4. Havana
Authenticity at its best! While you most certainly feel a bit culture-shocked at times, it’s an experience to never forget. The sooner you can go, the better. Because you never know for how much longer Cuba and Havana will stay its unique self without any Western interference.

5. Ixtapa Zihuatanejo
An upcoming region in Mexico that has so much to offer! Contrary to many other parts of Mexico, deserted beaches are easy to find here. Plus, there’s so much to see and experience. Find out what we did, saw and experienced in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo below.

6. Tobago Cays
Want to feel like Captain Jack Sparrow? That’s possible in stunningly beautiful Tobago Cays in the Caribbean. And yes, Pirates in the Caribbean has actually been recorded here! On the island itself there is no hotels, restaurants or any other facilities at all and this protected marine park can only be reached by (small) boat. Sun, sea and beach will never be the same again after you’ve seen this.
