When you get a chance to escape the cold in the middle of October, you grab it with both hands! Or so we thought.
We’re here on the beautiful island of Lanzarote for a few days of exploring and shooting some of our projects. Today I’m wearing a subtle layered outfit by s.Oliver’s beautiful Black Label of which the coat is my absolute favourite. The Black Label collection never fails to mix timeless classic pieces with elegance.
This the perfect example of the in-between-coat, not quite warm enough for die hard winter, but definitely perfect for October weather. Especially for October weather in Lanzarote ;-). I love styling different shades of neutrals in one look, so for me this colour palette of brown, grey, white, beige and a touch of mustard just worked. I love it when coats are both practical and elegant, this one has a zipper, so in case of cold-emergency you can stay nice and warm. On the other hand I love wearing it open, so maybe think of wearing the coat with a matching outfit underneath and a scarf to finish it off.
This coat would look equally great with a flowy dress and a pair of knee boots underneath, a bit like a boho-elegant combo. I can’t wait to vary it up with some different looks! How do you feel about wearing neutrals when the weather gets cold?
