There’s no denying that I’m into denim lately. From outfit repeating this pair of boyfriend jeans to a white ripped pair from denim & supply Ralph Lauren. Despite my love for denim, I doubted whether a denim skirt would be my thing or not.

Whenever you say denim skirt, I think of those ultra-short skirts which were all the rage in 2004. Since that isn’t something I’d see myself wearing these days, I just figured the trend wasn’t for me. I quickly changed my mind when I came across this midi length and slightly distressed one. It has proved to a great wardrobe staple since, you can find some of my previous outfits with this skirt here and here.
This outfit is all about mixing casual with super feminine garments, a way of dressing that I’m really into. The high neck lace top and white gilet work well with the denim and cool ocelot print slip-ons, creating that effortless feel. I thankfully took advantage of this sun soaked day in Fremantle by going out bare legged! Little pleasures in life…
