What is it about fluffy jumpers that make me oh so happy? I don’t know. When I lived in Australia (land of the endless summers), I often got asked by colleagues and friends what I miss most about the Netherlands. After yet another 40 degree summer day, my answer would always be: chilly air, wear a big jumper and an oversized coat.
Autumn has officially hit Europe and I thoroughly enjoy cozying up in beautifully designed jumpers like this one from Three Floor.I wore this outfit on a beautiful day of sightseeing in Milan and while bare legs seemed a little ambitious at first, when the sun came out by the end of the morning it was just perfect. We had a walk in Parco Sempione, then came across the Arch of Peace and this cute little square we took these photos. The city is so beautiful!
I love the contrasting textures of the Jumper, makes for the perfect mix between casual and polished. I tucked it into a midi skirt (who else loves pleats?) and added a suede black jacket and white sneakers for perfect comfort. Pleated midi skirts like this are truly one of my favourite wardrobe staples that I find myself wearing over and over again, even on the blog. You can find two other outfits featuring this skirt here and here. I think the best part about these skirts is that they’re so incredibly versatile. Wear them casual with a jumper like I’m doing here, spice it up with an off shoulder top and a pair of heels at night or combine it with a feminine blouse and cute sandals for a feminine day time appropriate look. Love the endless possibilities!
