I’m so excited to share with you part two of the shoot we did in the beautiful Hotel V Nesplein! Located super centrally, it’s the perfect home base to explore Amsterdam while the cozy and authentic interior will make you feel at home right away. I’m wearing a mix of metallic gold, stripes and leopard that surprisingly enough works and looks even better with the cool mustard wall backdrop.
If you’ve been reading FashionContainer since a while, it’s no secret that I love midi skirts. I guess I just really appreciate the modest, elegant look and on top of that they’re super easy to style for many different occasions. Today I’m wearing a stripe wrap skirt from Oasis with a slightly oversized shirt and a metallic gold jumper that has appeared on the blog several times before. You know, for example here and here. I left both my white blazers in Australia, so I recently purchased this one new at Zara a few weeks ago. The texture is super rich with perfect tailoring and length. The length is important for me because I’m a little taller than average so too often I’ve purchased blazers and jackets that just don’t look quite right on me, while they look amazing on my shorter friends.
The Zac Posen leopard bag is a cool funky touch to basic, mostly white outfits but I also loved how it worked out with this slightly daring ensemble with different prints, colours and textures. How do you feel about mixing prints?
