Experience Times Square at the Knickerbocker

One thing you just have to experience at least once in your life is staying at the Knickerbocker hotel right ON Times square. I can tell you…it’s pretty amazing.

Intro
From Iceland we arrived to New York. Not just New York…but right in the middle of Times square. Hectic? for sure. Exciting? yes! The great thing about the Knickerbocker hotel though is that you get all the excitement from the location, but once in your room… it’s suprisingly peaceful and silent. After very little sleep and crazy packed few days of activities while in Iceland, our room was a very welcome home. Comfy beds, a sofa, super spacious bath room. As if the room wasn’t enough to be excited about, the lovely team at Doucce send over some amazing make-up goodies (see second last picture). My personal favourite is the Luscious Lip Stain, the colours are SO pretty and stays on for hours without re-touching.

It’s all about the rooftop
My personal favourite part of the hotel was the rooftop bar, which gives you the full Times square experience without standing in the middle of it. As you can see on the pictures, on our first day it has been snowing a LOT. The rooftop covered in snow combined with the flashy lights and buzz from Times square was nothing short of magic!

Special treatment
How to make a Saturday night even more special? By getting your hair and make-up done in the hotel room by NOMI beauty. Our special occasion that night was an evening of Opera at the Metropolitan and both of us girls getting prepped and pampered was such a luxury! To top it all off, we got picked up by our wonderful partners at Luxury Ride USA. They’ve been absolutely fantastic getting us from place to place while in New York and I only have good words for them. But more about that experience later!

What I’m Wearing
Hard to choose, but this might actually be my favourite outfit worn in December! I love the combo of metallic gold and the voluminous lace top buckled up with a silver waist belt. Both the skirt and top are by Marks & Spencer, the other details can be found when you scroll down all the way down.
