Paisley print all the way! Writing you this from our beautiful Olas Verdes hotel in the middle of the jungle in Nosara, Costa Rica. In all honesty, I’ve spent the majority of my time here completely make-up free, wearing not much more than a bikini, a pair of shorts and my hair tied up in a pony tail. But hey, sometimes you feel like dressing up a little, even in the jungle.
This light and breezy dress from Oasis was just about the only thing I could tolerate wearing in the sticky, humid 35 degrees. If there’s one thing I regret about packing my suitcase for the past 2 month journey, is that I didn’t take with me more easy to wear, fuss-free dresses to wear in tropical weather circumstances. We stayed at Olas Verdes hotel for a total of 5 days and whenever we weren’t taking surf lessons, you could find us around the pool with a drink or explore the jungle which surrounds the hotel. Amazing.
I’ve always been a big lover of prints, but somehow lately I’ve been gravitating towards more plain pieces. This dress however immediately caught my eye. Maybe because paisley is always good or maybe because the dress comes in neutral beige and grey shades that tones down the busy print. Either way I loved wearing it, especially with my trusty studded sandals from Sam Edelman.
