Peplum Hem

It’s not often that I find dresses that are as flattering as the one I’m wearing. This dress makes me feel comfortable, feminine and elegant all at the same and I’m not even wearing a pair of heels…

The dress is made from a soft, textured fabric and features a subtle peplum [mermaid] hem. I doubted a lot whether I should get a size 8 or 10 as I’m a bit in between, but I’m so glad I went for an 8, as the fabric is a little stretchy and it hugs my body perfectly. I honestly couldn’t recommend this dress more, definitely my best buy in months.

As I mentioned briefly in my last post, I’m trying to go back to basics and get in touch again with my genuine personal style when it comes to getting dressed. I feel like a got a little off track and other than blaming myself, I also would like to blame Australia (or Perth at least) for not having the high street stores that I so dearly love. Mango, Zara and H&M sell so many things that are exactly my style, while what they stock in local stores here in Perth just doesn’t meet up with the price and quality level of the European high street. Time to move back to civilization, I say. Just kidding. What do you think about this outfit?
