Probably the best buy of the century is this gorgeous silk top which I bought at Saba last week. The padded shoulders, the subtle peplum style and of course the print makes it the perfect top for me.
As a European girl living in Australia, I have a big advantage when it comes to Sale shopping. I have noticed that in general Australian women have a different style than European women, so the items which I think are absolutely stunning, are often being left out in the Sale departement. Two minutes walking from my home there is a Saba outlet store and every now and then I find some real treasures for little money. This top has been reduced from $189 to $23 for example. Not a bad deal at all. I wanted the top to stand out, so I decided to pair it with a neutral skirt which I have -shame on me- never worn since I bought it last September. I have got some breaking news by the way: since last monday I am officially a gym member. Yes, me. I have never gone to the gym in my life, but lately I really felt like working out. As some of you might know, I’m playing indoor soccer and I love it, but coming home with new bruises all over my legs every week is not exactly very pleasant or lady-like. Just take a look at my right knee, which is the result of last monday. I have been going to the gym almost every day since and I actually really start to like it. It’s just two minutes walking from my place, which makes it even better. Yesterday it was a public holiday here in Australia, Anzac day in fact, and because my boyfriend had a day off from work, we decided to go to Mandurah with two of our good friends to have lunch. We ended up playing mini golf (love it!) and I even spotted some dolphins just a few meters away when walking on the boulevard. Yep, a great day for sure.
