Kaki Shift dress

Late afternoon on the jetty in Como, looking out over Swan River. What’s not to love about sun soaked winter days like this? I purchased this dress to update my wardrobe with some more ‘every day dresses’ and it has proven to be very versatile so far!

I’ve got so many fabulous dresses, but very few are actually appropriate to wear casually with flats or to the office. The dresses that I wear on a daily basis have to have a midi length (just above the knee) and preferably an A line style as I’m not a big fan of body hugging dresses, during the day at least. You might remember this post in which I talk about my casual dresses shopping spree.

For this look I’ve styled the dress with a metallic chain belt wrapped around my waist along with a silver biker jacket draped over my shoulders and metallic heels. The cool thing about simple dresses is that there’s an endless amount of different ways to style them. Perfect!
