Catching the light

Spring time in February! Well, in Portugal at least. The best part of the sunny weather in Lisbon is that it allowed me to wear casual layers with bare legs. Wow, it’s been a while.

I’m one of those girls that loves fashion and style, but without sacrificing comfort. During a day out of exploring in Lisbon, we headed straight to dinner without first going to the hotel to change. Big deal! Nah, it’s not. But when I know I’ll be out all day, I like to wear something versatile so I don’t look too out of place when heading straight to dinner.

Earthy tones like ochre, green and burgundy are really happening this season and I love experimenting with new colour combos. This one is very play-safe with only black, burgundy and navy, but still a nice change from neutrals only.

Oh, and let’s take a moment to appreciate how cool Lisbon’s houses are! Baby blue apartment, yes please.
