I’m living in my new home for about two weeks now and things are finally starting to settle down a little. It’s only been since yesterday that I’ve got wi-fi at home, thank god, and home instantly starts to feel like home.
I feel good about 2014. We’re only a few weeks in, but everything seems to turn around building the new. A new home, a new FashionContainer, a new attitude towards life. About the blogs new design (I feel like I talk about nothing else lately), it’s slowly coming together, but there’s still some things to be done before it can go online. I had no clue getting your website re-designed takes so much work, even when you’ve hired somehow to do it for you. Categorizing posts, making them all the same format, testing if all features work properly and so on. One of my 2014 resolutions is to enjoy the journey and to not always crave to arrive at the destination. If it makes any sense, in daily life I just shouldn’t be too impatient. I try hard, believe me. My own personality makes me tired sometimes.
The day I shot these pictures it was 40 degrees celsius and right now I’m asking myself why on earth I was wearing a pair of pants and a long sleeved top. I guess I was just very excited to wear my Tartan Pants for the first time! I was desperate for a kick of colour in my outfit, because much of what I’ve been wearing lately is either black, white or grey. I’m wearing a neon Warehouse top, which is a few tones lighter in real life than it looks on the website, but I’m in love with it anyway because the cut is absolutely perfect.
