Back in the days everything was better, wasn’t it?! Well, at least the fashion!

This pleated dress by Closet kind of reminds me of Christian Dior’s 50s vibe with all the super feminine dresses and wonderfully defined waist lines. It’s no secret that cobalt is one of my favourite colours, so this dress was a match made in heaven. Got to have it! Such an elegant style. On another note, this outfit is also the kind of trick I pull when I have to transition straight from day time into something appropriate for drinks and dinner…

I styled the dress with a biker jacket and oversized scarf, with a pair of cool sunglasses to wear during the day. A great way to achieve a more casual and city-girl like vibe. For the night look, I simply took off the jacket, added a pop of red lipstick et voila: ready to go for dinner in outfit that is exactly the right dose of chic. Is it really that easy? YES. Contrary to what you might expect, I’m a lady of the least effort so if I can avoid spending a lot of time to get ready or run back home to change, I totally will. Ha! You didn’t expect that, did you?
