My life is a complete chaos at the moment, catching up with blog content and getting on top of my super busy schedule for one month in the United States is seriously getting the best of me. But! I still managed to squeeze in some time to shoot this effortless Olivia Palermo inspired outfit in collaboration with Boohoo for their #tbt campaign that’s all about getting inspired by our style icons.

To me, Olivia Palermo’s style is all about timeless and elegant items with a modern, fun twist. I feel like the flared trousers only started to get hip and happening again since a few months, but as far as I know miss Palermo has been sporting them for the past few years and always manages to look so stunning in them.
Today it’s my turn and I went for a pair of pinstripe trousers paired with a blush bodysuit and sleeveless waterfall coat. I like pairing flared trousers with a fitted top to achieve the right balance, this crossover bodysuit gets exactly the look I want. Amsterdam weather has been everything but predictable, so having light layer material like this sleeveless wrap coat is the kind of item you’ll always want to be carrying around. Not super comfy, but these fabulous looking heels finish off the look. Flared trousers have the quality of making you look at least a few inches taller than you are, which is even more enhanced when wearing heels.
