The Archer

I never met an Empire state building view I didn’t like! Waking up next to it is another level of appreciation though. From our room 1806 at the Archer we had the best view and needless to say, 2 nights here was too short.

Room with a view
The room itself wasn’t large, but it was very cozy and beautifully decorated. The nice little extra’s such as a coffee maker and salted caramels upon arrival gave us that great ‘welcome home’ feeling. The staff at the Archer was exceptional and everyone we’ve come across throughout out stay went above and beyond to make our experience as comfortable as possible. Much appreciated!

Rooftop
One of the best things about the Archer is its gorgeous rooftop bar Spyglass. Both the interior and the view from here are to die for. The best setting to enjoy a couple of cocktails after a long day of work or exploring the city. Very busy and vibrant especially on Thursdays. Like all the other spaces in the hotel, the rooftop bar looks super trendy and chic.

Location
It’s hard to imagine a better location to explore New York than from the Archer. In the heart of Midtown Manhattan on 38th street between fifth and sixth avenues, you’re close to all the cities highlights. With an easy walking distance to Times Square, Bryant park, 5th Avenue (shopping!!) and many nice cafes and restaurants, there really isn’t much you can’t do from the Archer.

What I’m wearing
I’m wearing a black lace dress by Oasis, I love the longer length. After all, LBD are becoming a little cliche don’t you think ;)? The feminine, sophisticated fit is one to be worn for many festive occasions this month!

Conclusion
Our stay at the Archer was great and way too short. Very much recommended, not just for the extraordinary location and view, but also for the great hospitality and welcome. And for now…let the pictures do the speaking!
