Every once in a while, I’m in need of a good dose of red in my outfit. Funny enough, red was one of those colours that I didn’t feel comfortable wearing for a long time. Right now I’m in love with the spice it gives to any outfit with neutral colours.
I wore this outfit during my first day of Perth Fashion Festival, feeling super happy and relieved that this awesome statement necklace, ripped denim skirt and black heels arrived just in time. At first, I was thinking to keep this outfit all neutral, pairing it with a black or white blazer. I changed my mind because I wanted my first fashion festival look to be something more me, an outfit with a pop of colour. This red blazer has become my lifesaver whenever I need some colour in my outfit and I’m currently on the hunt for some more bright blazers, maybe pink or green, to add to my wardrobe.
Right now I’m at home, trying to take it easy, because I have a bit of a flu coming up. The Australian weather has gone nuts, with rain storms non stop the past few days, so I guess that’s the one to blame for my starting flu. Spring, where on earth are you? There is also some good stuff going on. Last weekend I hit the 5,000 likes on the FashionContainer Facebook page, a true milestone which I’m very proud of. Thank you all so much for your support!
