Let’s be honest here: red isn’t exactly my favourite colour to wear. I only like wearing it on few occasions when I’m really in the right mood for it. Is that just me? Tricky colour or not, I’ve worn quite a few red outfits that I love and that’s why I’m sharing them today.

1. Burgundy all the way
Because that’s red too, right? While in New York last December we stayed at Oheka Castle for a weekend and adored the sophisticated interior. For a project with Necessary Clothing, we shot this dress in one of the castle’s most beautiful and extravagant rooms. Perfect match I say!
2. Strapless red
Oh, New York! While staying at the Paul hotel in the NOMAD district I wore this dress for a project we shot in the hotel. This is the kind of dress I love most with nothing else than bare foot, which makes wearing it anywhere else than on the beach or inside impossible but that’s OK!
3. Boho chic
A colour palette as bright as Curacao asked for a colourful outfit! This printed skirt perfectly matched with bright red, a statement necklace and simple sandals.
4. Red with layers
I don’t often wear this suede biker jacket, but when I do, I’m in love! The fit and texture is perfect and I love how it spices up an otherwise very casual outfit.
5. Red Floral
My favourite colour to wear red with? white! With darker colours it easily becomes christmassy which I like to avoid. To me, this blazer is the ultimate garment for spring.
