Classic pieces that can be worn over and over again, those are the best wardrobe investments. This black lace dress is one of those pieces that I’m sure I will still be wearing 5 years from now.

The semi-sheer shiffon, the pattern and the v neckline work so well together and are giving the dress a very elegant look. I paired the dress with my signature silver jewelry, a few pieces that I cannot live without. My most essential pieces are a stunning Michael Kors watch, a pair of stone earrings and a few chunky rings. They are my everyday to go pieces that literally can be worn with anything.

The last days have been quite hectic, as I have been visiting several shows at Perth Fashion Festival and my brother arrived from The Netherlands for a visit at the same time. The outfit stress, the high heels and my busy schedule has taken its toll, leaving me with a starting flu. It’s like the weather knows when we have visitors, because the weather has turned horrible since last thursday. Too much weather talk lately, I’m totally aware of that. It has just been so crazy and unlike Perth lately. Anyway, good weather or bad weather, tomorrow we are planning on a little road trip, to show my brother a bit of Western Australia’s beauty.
