If I had to give a definition of happiness, biking through Amsterdam in summer time pretty much sums it up. But seriously, I’ve missed the freedom of getting from one place to another by bike SO much while I lived in Perth. The fact that you’re not obliged to wear a helmet according to Dutch law is pretty liberating too… Phew.

Today I’m wearing a sheer patterned lace dress from Chicwish, along with a casual denim shirt and gold sandals from Oasis. I was actually meant to wear this dress with a sleeveless denim jacket which of course at the moment supreme was nowhere to be found. Tatiane has been joking at me losing stuff and I can’t help but laugh at myself too. It’s been ridiculous how much I’ve lost while in the United States and it seems like it hasn’t been enough just yet. Anyway. I think a denim shirt with sleeves rolled up was a pretty good alternative, no?

People sitting along the canals, boats passing by, café’s playing loud music as early as 4pm. It can only mean one thing: summer! The weather was so lovely that day and we stayed outside until late after we finished shooting this outfit. The FashionContainer team is off for a week to Portugal next week where the weather is even hotter and I can’t wait! There’s just something about European summers that can hardly be put in words…
