We know Will Smith’s famous ‘Miami’ song and CSI Miami, but what do we really know about Miami? Not much as turnt out, but luckily we had a long weekend filled with the most adventurous, fun and tast things the city has to offer. 1. Food tour Being a meltingpot of cultures, Miami has so so much to offer food wise. We went on a tour with Miami Culinary tours in Little Havana, where we got a taste of authentic Cuban cuisine AND lifestyle. One of my favourite experiences were the tasty (and strong!) Cuban coffee we got to try,…

Welcome into a world of eclectic and colour, we’re at the beautiful boutique hotel Circa 39 in South Beach, Miami. Explorers heart Still a little jetlagged, but oh so excited, we arrived to Circa 39 for our second day in Miami. The hotel is situated on Collins Avenue, just across from the beach. The interior of our room perfectly matched the beachy vibe, with vibrant colours and funky art on the walls. An easy place to feel home! Circa 39 attracts all kinds of travellers, but in particular the kind that has made exploring their second nature. Like ourselves. the…

After a 10 hour flight from Amsterdam to Miami, an ocean view suite on the 18th floor sure feels good. We had the great pleasure to be welcomed to the Grand Beach hotel in Miami for our first night, with the smoothest check-in and welcome. Not only did our suite have a great spacious set up with cloud-like beds, it also had a balcony with the most staggering views of Miami. Look to your left for the ocean, to your right for downtown Miami’s skyline. We arrived when the sun just started going down my oh my, did I forgot…

Spark Fresh Bar Running into the most amazing avocado toast ever, that’s what I like to call serendipity ;). This cute spot in the lively Ossington area has all the great things one can wish for at brunch. From fresh juices (the really amazing kind), great coffee, pastries, chia pudding, and ofcourse: avocado toast. This place was a true gem and you have to stop by if you’re in town! Parcae This super hip spot in the Templar Hotel is a must-dine….

Food & New York, a combo that never fails! Even after 3 times in the city, there’s still so much to discover. Good food spots being one of them and today we share with you 5 of our favourites. Le Cirque You’re not going to find a restaurant with a richer history! This restaurant run by the Maccioni family blew us away from the moment we stepped in. Great welcoming yet sophisticated ambiance, outstanding hospitality and food that is both amazing in taste and in look. What more can one wish for? We were super excited to have a little…
