Favourite Fall Trends With Oasis

Hi from London! I’m once again risking my life on the streets for photos. But this post isn’t about that. Today I’m talking everything fall fashion, layering and the colour camel.
The most prominent trend for me this autumn evolves around the colour camel.

Whether it’s longline coats like the one I’m wearing, cozy jumpers or skirts, it’s THE colour your closet need. In all honesty, I’ve had a love-hate relationship with this colour for a long time. However, I’ve now completely changed my mind and I’m super excited about it! You might have noticed that FashionContainer has been working with Oasis for quite some time now, but while in London last week I visited their flagship store for the very first time. I can’t tell you how refreshing and inspiring it was to get my hands into the new collection. A very welcome change from just browsing online all the time! Now let me take you through my favourite ways to wear camel this fall.

50 shades of camel
Work with lighter and darker shades of camel for a sophisticated look. I for example love how the darker shade of the skirt and coat work together in the outfit that I’m wearing. Balance out the camel by adding a white, beige or grey garment.

With winter white
Imagine an oversized camel coat, chunky white jumper and white flared trousers along with a pair of silver pumps. I don’t know about you, but I’m loving it. So classy.

Knit it
I’m all about knits, but I’ve never owned one in camel. I actually think I’m totally missing out! It would look great worn over a pleated white skirt, boots and a leather jacket.

Denim ensemble
Wear your camel coat with double denim. A pair of ripped boyfriend jeans in a light denim shade paired with a dark blue shirt form a great combo. Simply add a classic black pump and done you are.

The classic
Black and camel work great together if done right. Wear your favourite little black dress with a woolen camel coat for a night out or opt for day time wear with black skinnies and a knit instead.

And what’s your favourite way of incorporating camel in your Fall wardrobe? I’m curious to hear your thoughts about it.

I wore this outfit for a day of London sightseeing. I can’t even begin to explain what a hectic day it was! Literally going from one part of town to another. Being comfortable was key, hence I wore a pair of quality sneakers I recently got from Syou, handmade from Colombia. We headed straight from sightseeing to a meeting and then dinner, so I brought with me a pair of heels so I could quickly change while on the go. Crazy day! To finish the outfit, I’m wearing a camel leather watch from Daniel WellingtonIt’s such a classic that looks good with anything. The good news is that you can now get 15% off your Daniel Wellington purchase by using the discount code FashionContainerDW upon check out (valid until October 15th). Happy shopping.
